Wade & Nicol Landscapes had put together a very eye catching garden for this years RHS Cardiff Flower Show. The garden used an Up-Cycle theme to show that you don't need to discard building materials as they can be used in creative ways within your garden design. 39 recycled shipping pallets were used as the core structure for the garden. They were also use for the planters, deck and chairs.

The pallets were painted a lavender blue which really brought out the colours complementing the spring foliage used within the garden.

This show garden would be a nice permanent garden and it would be interesting to see throughout the seasons how different planting strategies could bring life to the space and how people and wildlife would use it at different times throughout the year.

We could see that a lot of effort had been put into this garden. During her interview with Home and Gardening, Victoria told us that it was all hands on board from family and friends to get the garden completed for the show.

This effort was rewarded with a well deserved Gold Medal
